James Gibb Stuart Trust

Public Meetings

To stimulate debate and enhance learning based around the Trust’s concerns, it aims to organise, facilitate, and support regular public meetings each year. The Trust was able to organise and support 6 meetings, held in association with key partners, in the latter half of 2011 (two in Glasgow, two in Edinburgh, one in Ayr and one in Newcastle).

The Trust believes these public meetings will represent a major part of its social outreach over the next 3 years. It is aiming to organise and support at least 10 such meetings in 2012. Organising these events will also help the Trust to hone its ability to deliver such physical activities, as well as bring new and interested people into the orbit of the Trust, enabling it to network its solutions successfully with more people, and to meet new partners.
